Follow me on Facebook and Instagram. Etsy Shop (on vacation mode until Oct 16)
Our church's annual fall bazaar and craft show is coming up this Saturday. I don't have nearly as many things ready as I wanted. Life (and the day job) always gets in the way; and this this past weekend the school had a four day weekend so GabbieLouWho and I went on a little vacation. We had lots of fun, but we were both worn out. Her favorite part of vacation: sleeping in a hotel. 🏨
Today I sat for two minutes at a stop sign .... apparently waiting for it to turn green. 😜 Thankfully no one was behind me.
Sunday we will have a little get together for GLW's bday. We go to double digits this time. (Monday is her actual birthday). Then I get to start working toward Christmas. I always say I'm going to start on next Christmas in January. I always start in November. 😆
We finally have some fall temps here (which is ok as long as that's as cold as it gets. Sadly, fall means winter is coming. I hate winter.)
Have a great weekend, and hopefully I can come on here Monday and tell you I sold every single item I'm taking to the craft fair Saturday.

Matching Set
So ..... my mom’s birthday was last week .... nine days ago actually. And like Mother’s Day I completes her gift a weeeeee bit late.
For her birthday I made her a wallet (the Cleo by Andrie Designs) to match the purse (Ethel by Swoon) I had given her for her birthday.
And in between times I made her an ID wallet (by Uniquely Michelle) and a checkbook cover. Basically whatever new thing I make, she likes and wants one. And I am happy to oblige.
There is no picture of the checkbook cover, but it matches all the other items.
I told her today when I gave her the wallet she won't be getting anything for Christmas because she now has a full set. There aren't any more pieces to make.

Let's Try This Again .....
I can't believe I set up this blog then promptly abandoned it. Shame on me!
Actually I've been mostly using Instagram and sometimes Facebook. But I want to begin to detail a little more so I'm going to try to get back into blogging. I think I can share much more this way (though Instagram will still be my go to for instantly sharing a photo of my latest project.
So catch up with what Ive worked on lately with Instagram, and find out all about the upcoming Fall Craft Fair that I'll be participating in on Oct 13th and then get ready to keep up with all my doings here on the blog.
Here are a few of the items I have so far. Be sure and follow me for updates on what I'm working on. With the gift-giving season approaching quickly, I''ve got to get busy!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Polly Crossbody - My New Addiction
A few months ago Andrie Designs shared a free tutorial and pattern for the Polly Crossbody bag. for anyone who signs up for her newsletter. I finally got a chance to make one about three weeks ago, and now I've made five!
I made the first three for the granddaughters. Two princess ones (for the 2 yr old and 3 yr old) and a multi-colored one for the 8 yr old (she picked out her own fabrics).
Then I made two more for friends for birthdays this week. They have both been delivered so I can share pictures now.
It has a roomy inner pouch, a zipper pocket on the outside (underneath the flap) and a magnetic snap closure.
This is a great pattern, and an easy sew (even easier after the first one). I've got orders for three more from co-workers, so this really is a great little bag suitable for anyone!!
